Arkansas is leading the nation in K-12 cybersecurity protocols by establishing the CIRT (Cyber Incident Response Team), comprised of ADE, DIS, and Arkansas Education Cooperative Technology Coordinators.
Last week, Bruce Watson along with other Arkansas Education Co-op Technology Coordinators from across the state attended the 2024 CIRT Conference in Little Rock. During the 2024 CIRT conference, the team engaged in a hands-on threat-hunting exercise received cyber law updates, and set new goals for the 2024-2025 school year.
